Enquiry information

When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you enter, which may include your name, telephone number, email address, postcode, project type and information about the room. We use this to reply, discuss the work and prepare or administer a quotation and project.

The website saves each completed enquiry securely so it can be recovered even if an email notification is delayed. Resend provides the authenticated email notification to the SM Bespoke Wardrobes sales inbox, with FormSubmit retained as an emergency fallback while the new delivery route is proved. We do not sell enquiry information.

To reduce automated spam, the form uses an invisible field, a short server-verified completion check and submission limits. Short-lived security counters use protected, one-way identifiers rather than storing your IP address or contact details in those counters. Suspected unsolicited messages are kept for review and do not count as customer leads.

Cookies and advertising measurement

The website works without optional cookies. The Google tag starts with advertising and analytics storage denied. If you select “Accept analytics”, consent is updated and Google may use cookies or similar technology to show how people found and used the website and whether advertising led to an enquiry or telephone call.

Google Analytics measures page visits and actions such as starting an enquiry, saving an accepted enquiry, or clicking a telephone or email link. A telephone click does not confirm that a call connected. Your form name, email address, telephone number and room description are not sent as analytics event details.

The separate optional advertising measurement choice allows your email address and, where usable, telephone number to be normalised and securely hashed in your browser after an accepted enquiry is saved. Those hashes are sent to Google Ads to help match the enquiry to advertising. They are not added to Google Analytics event details or our browser attribution record. Choosing analytics alone does not enable this sharing, and an older analytics choice does not count as permission. You can withdraw this choice using “Cookie choices”; withdrawing prevents future sharing but does not recall data already sent.

If you reject non-essential cookies, optional advertising and analytics cookies remain disabled. Google may receive limited consent-denied measurement signals so advertising results can be estimated without identifying you through those optional cookies. Our own attribution record is stored only after you accept analytics. It retains the first visit and most recent paid visit for up to 90 days on this device, with a session reset after 30 minutes of inactivity. It can include landing-page paths, referral websites, campaign labels and advertising click identifiers. Rejecting or withdrawing consent clears this browser attribution record; you can still send an enquiry. When permitted attribution accompanies an enquiry, a snapshot is saved with that enquiry under the retention policy below. A Google referral alone does not tell us whether a visit came from an advertisement.

Your choice is remembered on your device for up to 180 days and can be changed at any time using “Cookie choices” in the footer.

Why we use the information

Enquiry details are used because they are necessary to respond to a request and pursue the legitimate interests of discussing and providing bespoke fitted furniture. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are used only with consent.

How long information is kept

Enquiry and project information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, manage the work, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal or accounting requirements.
